The Platte County Library Foundation, Inc. is a private 501(c)3, tax exempt entity which supports the Platte County Public Library System by raising and managing funds to expand library services and programs.
The Foundation encourages gifts, endowments and memorials to further enhance the library system's support of its communities above and beyond its generous county funding.
The Foundation believes that the difference between a good library and a great library is measured by its ability to go beyond the public funds that support basic services, and with the help of private funds, to provide programs and collections of true distinction.

Effective July 1, 2008, gifts, pledges and donations for the Wyoming Public Library Endowment Challenge can be received by the Foundation. Each gift will be matched 3:1 by the State of Wyoming.
